Islamix has no user accounts and stores most of your information only on your device. This page explains how to delete your data.
1. Delete all on-device data (settings, caches, location)
Almost everything Islamix keeps — your prayer calculation method and madhab, manual adjustments, notification and sound preferences, theme and haptic settings, home-screen and widget configuration, your last-known and cached location, and the reverse-geocoding cache — is stored locally on your device only.
To delete all of it, uninstall the App. Removing Islamix from your device permanently deletes this on-device data. Reinstalling starts fresh, as if on first launch.
You can also, without uninstalling:
- revoke location access in your device settings;
- turn off notifications in your device settings.
2. Diagnostics data (crash reports and performance)
Islamix uses Google Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring to collect crash and performance diagnostics so we can fix problems. This information is not linked to your name, email, or an account, and is not used for advertising or tracking.
If you would like us to stop processing diagnostics associated with your installation, or to request deletion of diagnostics data, email founders@islamix.app with the subject line "Data deletion request". Please tell us your device model and operating-system version so we can attempt to locate relevant records. Because diagnostics are not linked to your identity, our ability to isolate records specific to you may be limited.
3. Data we do not hold
We do not operate accounts and do not keep a personal profile about you. Location coordinates (rounded) and place-search text are sent, via a proxy we operate on Cloudflare, to our geocoding provider LocationIQ only to return a place name in real time; the proxy caches place names, not your coordinates, and does not link them to your identity (see our Privacy Policy, islamix.app/privacy).

We aim to acknowledge deletion and privacy requests within a reasonable period and, where a legal timeframe applies (such as under the UK GDPR), within that timeframe.
